Energy Observer is a catamaran sailing around the world on hydrogen, and an exhibition Village that follows it from port to port. For four years, YL MOTION produced and kept updating the content of that Village: the educational kiosks, the navigation map projected onto a table, the press campaign, the seasonal greetings. The voyage table · 2021-2024
Projected onto a circular table at the centre of the Village, the map replays the catamaran's voyage port by port. Updated before every leg of the Odyssey, four years running.
The Village kiosks · 2020-2024
Vertical screens set along the visitor route: the boat in cutaway, the crew, marine pollution. The fuel cell runs across two screens side by side, exactly as in the room.
The press campaign · 2021
The round-the-world route animated to announce the 2021 Odyssey: from Martinique to Asia, cut in 16:9 and square for press and social.
The seasonal greetings · 2022
The boat's year replayed in 45 seconds, up to the Eiffel Tower lit with hydrogen produced on board. Repeated in 2023.
