Celeste Mountain Lodge is a hotel in Bijagua, Costa Rica, on the road to Tenorio Volcano National Park and the Río Celeste. Its owner first asked me for a presentation film in 2016, which was updated in 2017 and cut down to a short version in 2019. In summer 2026 he wanted to refresh it: I suggested remaking it in today's style, and he gave me a free hand.
The 1 min 26 film is built from the lodge's own photos and videos, including a tapir filmed on a phone: an animated logo, illustrated foliage around the architecture and the kitchen, titles in English, French and Spanish, from the rainforest seen by drone to the Río Celeste, from the rooms to the terrace at sunset. Six versions in two days, approved on 16 August, then four versions for the lodge's website, social media, WhatsApp and email.
